Paul Giamatti asks Bruce Campbell to do Bubba Nosferatu

Can Paul Giamatti lure Bruce back to Bubba Nosferatu? We hope so.

I have just stumbled across a video interview with Paul Giamatti over at IESB.net. The interview appears to have been around for a few months now, but we hadn't heard anything about it until now. The interview is for Giamatti's movie Shoot 'Em Up (btw Shoot 'Em Up is really worth a watch if you want some mindless over the top action) and the interview is constantly interrupted and funny to watch. Anyway... Paul Giamatti agreed some time ago to be Colonel Tom Parker in Bubba Nosferatu. He loved Bubba Ho-Tep and wants to be a part of its sequel. Sadly, as you will have read here, Bruce Campbell and Don Coscarelli have disagreed on the direction of the movie and Bruce has chosen not to participate. In this video interview Giamatti speaks out to Bruce and implores him to do Bubba Nosferatu. So far it is the fans and Don Coscarelli who want Bruce back for the sequel/prequel, now we have the back up of one of today's most popular actors urging Bruce to do the movie too. Let's hope that Bruce sees this and changes his mind. I personally wouldn't be averse to someone else taking over the Elvis role in Bubba Nosferatu, but only if Bruce would under no circumstances do it and as long as the replacement was a good enough choice. Here's hoping that Bruce changes his mind.
