New project for Don Coscarelli might delay Bubba Nosferatu even further

Bubba director takes on 'John Dies at the End'

Bubba Nosferatu seems only to be getting further and further away at the moment. There has been no obvious movement on the sequel to Bubba Ho-Tep for some time now, but this might delay things even more. Don Conscarelli has been speaking of his next project 'John Dies at the End'. The contract has only just been signed, but it sounds like it will be Don's next movie. The movie will be a screen version of David Wong's recently published novel of the same title. The book follows two college drop-outs, John and David, as they try to stop the inter-dimensional side effects of a new recreational drug on the streets. It sounds like a good project for Conscarelli, but sadly it only suggests that Bubba Nosferatu has been put on the back burner for a while longer. Looking for a silver lining, perhaps this movie will do well and stir up support for Coscarelli and Bubba Nosferatu? Keep your fingers crossed. More info on this project as we get it.
